Mostly Landscapes
Hi, I’m Carl Sperber
I’m a landscape artist based in Clarkston, Michigan. I am inspired by the power and beauty of nature, and by art that is alive with motion, light and color. When I picked up my pencils, pens and brushes after raising three children and a 40-year career in advertising I drew inspiration from photos I took while traveling with my family. These trips were to places with stunning vistas, rugged trails, towering mountains and rocky coastlines. I try to infuse my paintings and drawings with the awe I felt while in those places, and hope that viewers can feel that awe as well.
